Dr. Nadine von Krockow studied dentistry at the University of Cologne. After her graduation in 2007, she started as a training assistant in the field of oral surgery in a surgical and periodontological referral practice in Brühl near Cologne. In addition to her further training, Dr. von Krockow was engaged in a private diagnostic institute and, together with international experts, assessed more than 1500 three-dimensional x-rays, which gives her above-average experience and competence in radiological diagnostics. In 2009 she completed the structured further training as a specialist for root canal treatment/endodontology at North Carolina University. In 2012, the University of Düsseldorf awarded her the title of Dr. med. dent. after successfully completing her doctorate on the subject of “Analysis of the survival rate of short dental implants (10 mm)”. 

n October 2010, she began as a training assistant for oral surgery at the Department for Dental Surgery and Implantology of the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main Director Prof. Dr. med. dent. G.-H. Nentwig. 

In October 2011 she was appointed specialist for oral surgery after examination by the Landeszahnärztekammer Hessen. 

Since 2010 she has been working in the department for postgraduate education at the Goethe University Frankfurt and since 2011 she is Academic Manager of the scientific organization of the Master of Oral Implantology program. In 2015 she was appointed senior physician in the Department of Postgraduate Education at Goethe University. 

Dr. von Krockow works in the field of implantology as a national and international consultant and is the author of numerous national and international publications. 

As a dentist specializing in oral surgery and endodontology, Dr. von Krockow is able to apply her specialist knowledge to patient treatment at the highest level. Planning, periodontological findings, therapy and prosthetically highly aesthetic reconstructions are the essential pillars of every dental treatment. Empathy, quality and professional competence are their top priorities. 

Dr. med. dent. Florian Kunkel studied dentistry at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. After his graduation in 2007, he worked until 2012 as a research assistant at the Department for conservative dentistry at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, in the Department of Dentistry, where he also obtained his doctorate. During this time he was able to develop outstanding knowledge and competence in the fields of tooth preservation, in particular endodontics, traumatology and periodontology. In that way, Dr. Kunkel is able to achieve results at the highest level in root canal treatments even under difficult conditions and to optimally care for patients even after complex injuries of their teeth. 

He has completed structured further training in implantology at the DGOI in cooperation with New York University and is also qualified for extensive implant operations through numerous further training courses at home and abroad. He is the author of national and international publications and an active member of the DGET endodontic study group. 

After 2 years of further university education Dr Florian Kunkel was awarded the title Master of Science in Periodontology in 2016. 

In 2012, Dr. Kunkel received the Kurt Kaltenbach Foundation’s “Dental Education Award” for his outstanding scientific work. 

Univ. Prof. Dr.med.dent. Dr.med.dent.h.c. Georg-Hubertus Nentwig held the professorship for dental surgery and implantology at the Goethe University Frankfurt from 1991 to 2017. He not only developed his own implant systems, which are used today all over the world, but also devoted himself intensively to reconstructive surgery in order to reconstruct lost jaw bones and restore them with implants and fixed teeth. For this purpose, depending on the initial situation, so-called bone replacement materials or the patient’s own bone can be used, which in most cases can be extracted from the jaw region. Even “hopeless cases”, where the major part of the jaw bone has been lost due to previous periodontal diseases, can be reconstructed with these techniques (e.g. sinus lift, onlay augmentations, etc.) to be ready for implantation.
